For PC-based automation, the netX 90-based cifX PC cards in the formats M.2, PCIe and miniPCIe halfsize provide a powerful communication solution designed for future requirements. As a standardized platform, the cifX family supports all common Industrial Ethernet, Industrial IoT and fieldbus systems.
The complete protocol stack is executed directly on the PC card. Data exchange with the host system is handled efficiently via dual-port memory. Due to Hilscher’s unified platform strategy, all cifX cards use the same drivers and tools, regardless of the protocol or card format.
The proven netX technology enables all common Industrial Ethernet protocols to be implemented on a single hardware platform. Protocol changes are handled flexibly by loading different firmware – without any hardware modifications.
